The Business name of MV, first started in the online Virtual World of IMVU. I am a single Mother to three gorgeous children, so initially 3D creating was just a hobby. As time went on and my children grew older and became less demanding of my time, I was able to focus more on learning and building on my skills in the world of 3D Art.
I have now been working in Autodesk 3D max and Photoshop since the year of 2007. Virtual worlds have given me a great solid base learning in creating low poly models and texturing. Environments and themes are my specialty. I love to visualize a scene and make it come to life. Often inspired by an image I have seen or a movie I watched then recreating what forms in my mind.
I put a lot of love into each project I create, a lot of time and effort, and I simply get lost in each theme I take on. So It always amazes me when I receive praise and admiration for the end results. I see many flaws in my work and many ways that I can still improve, so to have people love my creations also is such a boost in inspiration to keep creating and keep learning.
I often gain contracted work with the IMVU Company itself to do promotional projects for them to give away to their customers, these projects are always done on a deadline and to specific requirements, working closely with them to achieve the results they are after. I also do a lot of work for individual customers of my own who request particular Models. Sometimes even hand drawn sketches that I am requested to create for them in 3D to their specific designs.
My main goal and plan for the future is to branch out into other areas where my skills could become useful. I wish to take my learning a little more serious and get involved in some courses where I can interact with fellow like minded people and take my skills to another whole new level. Then eventually work within a team creating content for Mobile game apps or for online games or even 3D animation films.
I have a background in web design and initially had planned to grow in this direction. I also have a background in Business. Those two together have helped a great deal in making a success out of the current work I do now.
Working in Virtual worlds does have its limitations and currently I am limited by what their clients will allow me to achieve within them, So for many projects lighting and real world visualization just doesn’t appear how I could achieve it within The Unity Game Engine. However learning ways around this to achieve results is somewhat gratifying. Always interesting and exciting for me though, and what started out as a simple hobby has now become my primary Job . Nothing better in this life than to make a career out of something that was originally your hobby. Getting paid for creating and working in this field I love has been a dream come true for me.
If you feel I would be suitable for a project your currently involved in or you need a content creator that can do a bit of contracted work on the side, please feel free to contact me via the contact page on this site, I would be more than happy to discuss any project with you.
